Production planning for the plastic industry - Advanced Course

Plan production, understanding the main critical issues, the current tools available and the solutions to manage ordinary and out of control situations, integrating Lean & Lean Plastic® methodologies with modern logic and programming principles. 

Topics covered

• Identify and understand the critical points of planning and what solutions can be adopted
• Identify tools for planning production
• Balance stocks and maintain the level of service through targeted decisions
• Know the main indicators and managerial tools to be able to effectively govern the programming process in the plastic sector
• Tackle and solve the main waste, identified by the Lean & Lean Plastic® methodology with a view to planning production in the best possible way
• Implement the streamlining of production through the principles of Lean Planning for Plastic
• Apply Kanban and Push / Pull logics, with typical references to implementation in the plastic sector
• Manage critical issues (e.g. program changes, color changes, delivery times) to always keep the machine load and deliveries optimized.

Duration

4 sessions of 4 hours each, for a total of 16 hours.
